I think you're struggling with comprehension. My sentiment is given as "none" rather than "hold". Furthermore I said that the company is only as good as the specialist staff it employs, so I'm not focussed on Joel's IT skills. You're the one insisting on his lack of skills in that respect. You consider that you have all the knowledge on GSW, so why don't you explain how GSW's IT features are easily replicated by reverse engineering? I haven't seen a GSW contract, but I would be flabbergasted if it didn't contain punitive clauses that would explicitly forbid any attempt to do so. If companies like YUM! and Amazon can gain a competitive and financial advantage by adopting the GSW SAAS product, they will be satisfied with that without trying to steal the technology. The costs involved for them is likely to be regarded as small change with consideration of the benefits they would need to derive for them to continue beyond a trial period.
