Supertramp thanks for quoting me but you are not complete right IMO. The ASX does value certain biotech’s highly.
Take for example CSL. Current price $155. Market cap circa $50 billion. For people lucky to have got this stock at the float price in the early 90’s circa $2. Taking into account the 3 way split the stock price is actually over $450. Not bad from $2 float!!!
The difference is CSL is a bemoath with huge free cash flows, profits and global repute. The Aussie market values profit and cash flow in biotech’s.
The US market is larger and more willing to put a higher value on specs. So, yes Imugene would have probably been valued higher in a US listed market.
