The problem is while you're likely correct re the open pit mine, as of this moment you have your c..k in your hand swinging it in the breeze and lamenting the fact that you too didn't sell.
The good thing about today' trades though is that the VWAP on 28 million plus sales was north of 0.29 c which makes current prices and lower an attractive reentry point.
Traders and MM's may be playing this big time.
Remember next time to hit the sell button when ever you get an inkling of a ruma.
