It's not used for a warm and fuzzy post, or an emotional post, and especially not for a flaming post about other members (usually the dreadful down rampers on their darling stock thread!) but for real analysis, or well thought out content.

This is designed to see a different group of posters come to the fore, rather than the popularity of hearts.
Some hearts may be awesome analysers too, and I can think of some straight off the top of my head, but others are more for the fast and furious action of day trading forum.

Please enjoy the new feature, but treat it with respect!

This is interesting. It is conceivable that you could not like the post but still think it is great analysis. We all have some thinking to do.
