Before I invest in company's after searching the CEO's name in Google with "fraud" and "ASIC" and given a negative result come's up I undertake the email test. The email test is sending a question , inquiry , reaching out to the CEO to see 1) If he/she responds and 2/How long it takes for him/her to respond. I sent this email to Brendan on the 30th of January as the "email test"
Hi Brendan,
I run my own small cap fund, The Supernatural Superannuation Fund and have a couple of questions regarding the latest 4C. On the expense management side I notice you have been successful in trimming expenses. What area’s has this mainly come from ? In respect of any future raising what broker house are you associated with ? Finally do you have any roadshows planned in the near future as would like to catch up.
Best regards,
Private Investor
The Supernatural Superannuation Fund
Jason Ashton from Big Air passed the email test. He responded 2 hours later and I bought 5 million shares at 20 cents.Vaughen Bowen from MTU responded at 6.30am in the morning after her received the email at 11pm the night before. I bought 500,000 at $2. James Spencely responded almost immediately and some 500,000 shares where purchased at 80 cents.
I have yet to have a response from Brendan. It's a really good test and I use it all the time.
