Avoid Hack Media like the plague

I have traded ASX shares for more than 3 decades. During that time I have never bought or read a copy of the AFR. It is a complete waste of time. This also applies to other print media like the SMH which got the US Presidential race 100% wrong, and are total buffoons when it comes to analyzing politics, or anything else that counts. Read it online for a laugh. Wife also had a good laugh.

I still follow the Fairfax / Domain real estate thingy for a laugh. Every weekend they breathlessly report on the health of the Sydney real estate market. Just sent a friend of mine a listing of a large home in Daytona Beach FLA (near the beach) for $300,000 or about 10% of the price of a similar home in Sydney. None of these reporters want to tell u the truth. That u are being ripped off.

Do they still rip up the newspaper and put it on a string in the dunny?
