Options and resulting shares should have an escrow period to stop this "cash trading". This is a risk free wage as I see it. Have they increased your shareholder value to deserve this bonus? Escrow of 1 year on all shares they purchase (especially option exercises) means that at least their real cash money is in the market just like ours for 12 months so they have some risk. Only 25% of options should be able to be converted in any one 3 month period. Maybe some responsibility would come with that risk. They have a privilaged position in regards to what's going on so this would balance that privilage out.
