Just because people said God told us to kill all these people doesn't mean he did
Hmmmm...and just because people said they were inspired by God to write a book, doesn't mean they were.
Conversely, if they were divinely inspired, why would God allow false and untrue justifications in his book i.e. *If * God does exist he would clearly distance himself from these allegations as recorded - that's a divinely inspired book of truth is it, the divine inspirer potentially distancing himself from what it says?
