    The deal is mentioned, not a payment.

    I’m thinking that VC is taking the pre orders (I preordered and have been charged already). Once the collect the funds from the preorders the payments will be released to MGC. Since VC is a new company, maybe the deal was made that VC would market the products, take preorders and use funds from preorders to pay MGC.
