There are some questions that remain. But BIG had two main drivers.
1. Rapid growth without money initially
2. To develop a library of SME videos and a platform to offer them on
Both of these things would not be possible using any other approach imo.
They both have significant value. Based on the info we have at hand it appears their value far outweighs the financial costs of this setup.
