One would think that businesses are in business to make profits
Banks are a business.
Mining is a business.
Retail is a business.
Manufacturing is a business.
Tourism is a business.
Just about everything is a business.
What I don't get is WHY any single business or industry that is good at what they do and make money are therefore targeted and milked and taxed more heavily....because..... they're good at what they do.
If they're corrupt...prosecute. If they're rorting...legislate. If they're illegal...shut them down.
But don't think that just because an organisation is successful it should have to pay a "premium" of tax.
