lots of wishful thinking, but the reality is that no one will get 1 cent from the class action and the lawyer knew he has very little chance but imo just use everyone try to make some deal for certain major investor before the court. All the small holders really just the complement of the game.

Regardless if the court found it has failed to disclosure or not, you can't claim lose if you still hold the stock (same as you cn't claim tax until you sold the stock), you also can't claim you sold your stock at a loss was GSW's responsibility. This difficult is due to GSW is still trading normally, and it did not dilute it's share value and all the claimed loss were just market volatility, etc.etc. If GSW has collapsed, then it would be a very different story and the class action can easily win because any loss is true loss.

There is a reason why you have't heard any class action against a listed company citing its sp suddenly sharp drop due to eg., deceptive forecast etc. etc. All the class action take place only after the company has collapsed.
