    This gave me encouragement.

I'm pretty shocking at maths, only know basics of chart reading, and my FA skills are based largely upon what others know. One thing I do know though is market psychology. I particularly know how 'hype' works and the pump and dump cycle of dog stocks. As I've mentioned many times before, I learnt the hard way. But since then I've been making a killing just trading on hype and exiting (in most cases) before the hype bubble bursts. In this way I often miss mega profits, but the important point is that I DO make profits - consistently.

Regarding AVZ: I've done really well trading AVZ over the past 6 months. With the MC over $500m I never had the guts to just buy a huge chunk and leave it there so I often sold out, took profits, waited for a lull and bought back in. I recently couldn't help myself so bought in with a medium position near the CR price. I reckon she's a goer again - even in a better position than she was 6 months ago but the same SP! One thing that concerns me is the amount of hype on HC about AVZ. I get this feeling that instos would love a HC darling as they could keep boosting the SP to silly levels, the hype on HC and amongst other retail investors increases, and the instos leave making killer profits and leaving all of us as the greater fools. However, at this stage, AVZ is still in "this could be massive!" territory so for now, I'm riding the hype.
