Please look at the ASX listed stock CDC (a company based in China came all the way here to list company on ASX) . Stock trading has been suspended from last year. The company couldn't care less to follow ASX's listing rules, nor answering questions. Search CDC on hot copper you will see how distress the shareholders are.
My portfolio includes 4 main baskets in which all are solid large company stocks.
