there is an application from a biodiversity company to build a power plant that runs on chook poo, next door to a chicken abattoirs.
the council has knocked it back 3 times already.

ps- the main reason it was knocked back was lack of filtration in regard to Methane gas. apparently, it was OK for the stench produced to be 'fowl' to human nostrils, as long as it controlled methane.

if this got the green light, it would be open slather because this is defined under the banner-Renewable Energy.
