They might have got a better take-up if they had offered a higher discount. On one hand the tight pricing is an indication that the brokers thought there would be strong support for the issue, but the offset is that is that if the raising ultimately gets low support then the finger can be pointed at the price.
I would not call this a strong retail raising by any stretch.
But it was a big dip into shareholder pockets and we can at least say we got the chance, which does not always happen.
