I wish I could ease your fears, BillyBongo.

But I'm not up to speed on the
    minute details of Labor's
    strategy for funding
    universities.

Since the issue is of great concern to
you - perhaps you could ferret out
the details and share them with us.

My wife and I have a far more
    down-to-earth role of
    housing, feeding and
    looking after foreign
    students cos unlike
    Aussie students,
    overeas sudents
    can't rely on
    Mum and Dad
    (for a room)
    and have to
    make do
    with us.

    Our speciality is Asian food
as food is the main item
    that needs to be like
    Mum prepares.

I remembered the last time I
was in Asia and after three
weeks of Asian food I was
    BUSTING for some dinkum
Aussie food - so we went
    to a RAAF club near
    Penang and I ordered
    some Lamb Chops
    with veges like
    my Mum used
    to make.

    Guess what?

The chef put the chops and the
veges in a wok and stir-fried
the lot - Asian style with
    Oyster Sauce! (vbg!)

    But at least that incident
    gave me some INSIGHT
    as to how homesick
    foreign students can
    get for PROPER food
    as they understand
    'proper' food.

    Yet another example of how:

    'Travel Broadens The Mind!"
