Seems a few other mining companies starting to explore/drill in Rep of Congo and just over border nearby in Gabon. I like the fact Congo Govt are issuing new exploration licences and its encouraging in terms of political risk and potential that new explorers are entering the country/region.
Though no Iron Ore exploration we have:
-SearchGold just 100km to northeast of Mayoko in Gabon are drilling for Gold (Bakoudou Project)
- Sanu Resources announced 4th Dec 07 that obtained exploration licence for central Congo region of Mindouli to explore/drill for Copper/Zinc - drilling to start immediately
- AfriOre have Yanga Koubaza and Boko Songho projects drilling for Lead, Zinc and Copper in central Congo near Madingou
