Should this move not generate a discussion on tariffs in general ?
I do know, is this a good time to mention the U.S. government subsidies given to automakers in the form of massive bailouts?
Would it not be better to allow business to compete and have a tariff so that dumping can not occur, maybe we would then see a new manufacturing industry arise again in Australia instead of us just being a hole in the ground.
We are aware that tariffs are negotiated and agreed to by WTO members.
