The market will be the decider on whether the announcement is desperate fluff or not, and today's closing IBG SP sub 6c shows clearly the contempt that traders and investors had for it.
Hardly surprising, given the suspicious timing of the announcement, and more importantly, the power of yesterday's closing SP imprint.
Yesterday's closing SP may well attract more shorters as I said, but it will also potentially attract another downward pressure from traders. A break through a support line such as 6c can be the set up for a trading pattern whereby the old floor becomes the new ceiling. With that outlook on future SP, going long on IBG maybe even less attractive to traders.
Until there is a breakthrough the 6c mark, the next support line on the charts is the next short term target imo. This being the 4c support line. Yesterday's price action and today's confirmation was very expensive to existing IBG holders imo.
Good luck to all , especially those who bought at 6.2 c today, and those who urged them on.
