The interest rate rise has been factored into the exchange rate. There is a good chance $A might drops off a bit after the rate announcement tomorrow with the US economy is running very strong.
Also, BHP has broke out of its down trend line from the high of $12.28 reached on the 16th of October. So $12 is a possibility.
At the moment BHP is still just less than 2% discount to what it traded in London overnight. You might see a gap up in the afternoon.
