I don't care who MNS has loose arrangements with to buy components and services from - nobody does.

However, as I said above, in the simplest terms, you think VW or any manufacturer are going to chuck IM3 bench scale prototype batteries - regardless of where they are manufactured - in electric vehicles and try to sell them? Best you read up on the TOU about ramping.

Simply no way IM3's unproven and untested batteries are going into publicly available products. As seen in the links I provided, insurers won't touch them.
