re: peoples thoughts - more than bigpond I had a marketing call yes2day from someone at Dodo ADSL. Instead of my usual I'm not interested comment (while im hanging up) I let this bloke run his spiel.

They asked me to do a quick survey about my ISP requirements, which i did.

It was just bull$hit, bull$hit, bull$hit - oh by the way are you interested in speaking to someone about signing up..

In short DODO's 1500bps plan was about $189 - my plan costs me $70 / mth (1500 + 4 gb downloads)

I asked this guy what ISP he was with, which he replied he was not with any ISP. (I think he's signing up with SWT) i gave him some $$ - he couldn't believe the price diff and straight forward plans..

Check out how complicated the plans are with these DODO guys !!! How they stay in business is beyond me..
