One reason I can imagine is sufficient new equity in safe hands to block preemptive T/O. SP rising and CN talking about equity .....you know it makes sense
The sooner the funding uncertainty is resolved the sooner the anchor will be removed from the SP IMO. You don't want to leave these things to the last minute.
