After many years holding NGE, I am out. It took a while (as in more than a week) to unload my position but my view is the following: the company is now in the business of investing my money, and those investments are determined by Lamm. However, I view myself as a far better energy investor than Lamm so why would I want to allocate my capital to a subpar, mediocre investor who also charges an exorbitant amount in salary and fees given his absolutely worthless pedigree?
No thanks. I'll eat my losses in this one and invest my capital in the opportunities that are now present in the market. It actually looks like a good time again to be an energy investor.
