These guys are doing the perfect legal thing both from china and australia point of view. From australia, they pay gst. The profit comes from.the sale which is conducted in china so australia has no legal aveune to pursue this part of the tax.

Now in china, they have the legal ground to pursue this part of tax. However the customs law also allow a small amout of personal import tax free, usually this is up to 6 tins. Daigous are smart, they just send 6 tin package each time to fit this allowance. This is tax avoidence but still legal.

I have no problem they make some profit tax free. But i always angry of the media beat up. Yes some people made huge profit so what? Thats still a small percentage only because they are smart, business astute and have good sales network.

Have a chinese backgrond is not a money printing machines. Im chinese and i have friends and relis but i found it extemly hard to make great profit through wechat to conduct business, day in day out. The amount of time and effort spent on wechat to deal with customers will easily wear you down. And yes chinese consumers are a lot more picky than austrians.

So i think people made great profit in daigou deserves their hard work. There's nothing to be jealoused. And dont ever dream to get rich quickly and easily by just sending some milks.
