Please have a look , what´s going on with the DOW. Good news in the real estate crisis.
Wednesday or Thursday German TV reported in the afternoon, that interest rates would be probably relaxed in the US by 0,25%. DOW and German DAX rising. At closure DOW closes lower by 1-2% , since so called market was disappointed by
the ´only´ 0,25% . DAX closed higher, but DOW dropped.
These are the major games which are played. American funds
are the players in the market in general.
THR is a special situation.
In London mostly large transactions and very small ones in deed. I believe that these are from time to time sales by
TNG-shareholders.
Anyhow You are right, small transactions can influence the market up and down. Also in Frankfurt some shareholders like to buy small numbers comparing it with Australian share price. Brokerage fees are in Germany 6 Euros offered by online trading.
Because of legal reasons I won´t say do that or don´t do the following.
Just to say what I would do with any share in this situation:
2000-5000 share trades, several ones, may be one every day or every some days, to have a consequent cost average strategy.
That´s fine as safety for the shares which are already bought.
If 100 people buy 5000 shares of a certain company that´s sometimes better than one 500.000 shares trade.
I am fan of cost average strategy.
