Not necessarily. If you mean revenue, then yes, MMJ would have to sell shares to bring in cash. But if HVT takes off on the back of the legal rec market in Canada then MMJ's valuation should increase, as their shareholding in HVT increases in value. And the share price would reflect this. So more than one way to "make money" for shareholders, apart from just revenue.
