Taken from and translated from the Mali Govt web portal;
Three draft decrees approving the contract for the construction works of the 225 KV Sikasso-Bougouni-Sanankoroba- Bamako double-wye link divided into three (3) lots:
- Lot I: construction of HTB lines, for a tax-free amount of 47 million
302 thousand 659 US Dollars, ie approximately 26 billion 631 million 397 thousand 017 CFA Francs and a 24-month execution period, concluded between the Government of the Republic of Mali and the Company EMC Limited;
- Lot II: construction of posts, for a tax-free amount of 40 million 628 thousand 656 decimal 76 US Dollars, or approximately 22 billion 873 million 933 thousand 755 decimal point 8 Francs CFA and a 24-month execution period, concluded between the Government of the Republic of Mali and Tata Projects Limited;
- Lot III: distribution and connection of Dialakorobougou, Sanankoroba, Bougouni, Zantibebougou, Koumantou, Kolondieba, Sido, Keleya and Niena, for an amount of 12 million 811 thousand 495 comma 70 US dollars, or about 7,212 million 872 thousand 79 Comma 1 Francs CFA and a 24-month execution period between the Government of the Republic of Mali and Mohan Energy Corporation Private Limited.
The execution of this contract is part of the implementation of the Ghana-Burkina-Mali Interconnection Project, initiated by the West African Power Exchange System. In particular, it will increase the supply of energy resources, improve the quality of the public electricity service and contribute to the socio-economic development of the beneficiary areas.
