@BoroBoyinoz
Firstly I live in Europe.
Secondly tell me, which newspaper wants to go after the ASX, ASIC and ultimately the Australian Government (because there the ones in charge of the regulator).
If it had been in the billions of dollars you might have got the government holding a public inquiry or such like into the matter, to learn lessons for the future (scared there was too much public uproar) but there not going to compensate those who lost lots of money on the scandal.
(for the record I'm not one of them, I made money on the company and only had a non marketable parcel left on behalf of a friend at the end).
If there was a public outcry at the amount Australian directors get in compensation & there lack of accountability & good corporate governance that occurs in Australian company's.
Too soft on regulation which is why so few foreign investors come near it and a requirement for at least 2 Directors to be Australian.
The ASX is a backwater market, the government if it wants to be with the big boys needs to set the playing rules accordingly.
Having said that if there is some journalist /newspaper willing to start a crusade for Justice in the company's arena, then I'm more than happy to tell them my Antares story.
