You would take the ostrich approach - head in the sand - rather than be informed that the MD went to jail for blackmail? That's brave with your hard earned capital. Maybe you would have been more cautious.
Now that it's all too late and the listed entity has gone to sheet for dozen different reasons, it's all too late that this comes out.
'Dirty' and 'underhanded' come to mind in relation the blackmail offence and conviction itself, not the clearing of the air and revealing of it by investigation.
