I wonder if the *Chinese are eyeing off the likes of Blue from afar, to add to their bank of future sources of supply??? Given they will have an almost insatiable appetite for gas in coming years this surely must be a given....
The entire "uncommitted" gas supply reserves here must be being eyed of by predators keen to lock it in for use now or later. I'm sure many punters and as likely maybe even *funds, have not properly twigged to this yet. (just because 'someone" is a fund, doesn't mean they're smart; in fact, often, slow on the uptake because their staff are "young" and inexperienced and do little proper research. They just don't know)
I don't understand the mechanics of these big picture *international acquisitions, but if so, this must add pressure to local majors eyeing off the same very limited offerings. All things being equal, there's little doubt, the gas sector will have a tremendous year or two ahead.
