Royalty rises to 3.5% from 2% and its all over for what potentially will be the largest lithium resource on the planet and lowest cost producer
Maybe you should have sold up on your Mali stock ages ago mate; the Mali’s government reduced the royalty rate applied to ‘gold’ mining companies from 6% to 3% in order to encourage investment in that minerial back in 2010, but gold represents 95% of the country's mineral production....you might wanna check what the royalties are on the Lithium side of things.
Here’s an interesting fact - Mali exports 20-25 tonne (yes twenty to twenty five tonnes) of gold per year.Obvously ,This basically all goes by air. 20 tonne is the equivalent of 1 truck load.
The road to Manono is funded and being built. Do you reckon anyone is going to invest millions in building / upgrading roads just for your Mali lithium number
Best of luck with that one![]()
