I suspect that the standard will be increased with time. When they first established that standard they probably only saw TAVR as a short term fix for very old people unable to withstand the stress of SAVR.
So they set it at 5.5 years. Going forward I can see them moving that standard to 10 + years and setting the bar higher and higher as patients get younger and younger.
This will dove tail nicely into our TAVR strategy as durability and a very long lasting TAVR is our goal and our unique competitive advantage.
Further great news this morning as we begin our steady walk up the trend line and reverse years of downtrend with solid fundamental advancements.
Exciting times ahead for Admedus in 2018 to 2021 and beyond.
