The true reality of it all is that Punters have only bought and sold shares here and with that, ride the SP up or down.
If holding at the right times, dividends (several) and a capital return would have been received. A couple of years of buy-backs are also on record. Things have been lean for 3 years now.
Cash injections when needed have come from Sophisticated Investors in the form of placements (just a few over the past couple of years) and crystallising options (in the days of yore) as CFE has morphed along over the past 15 years or so. Punters have never been asked to dip in their pockets here.
