The obligation should only be to settle the loan if it wasn't being rolled over.
It's a big parcel of share's to sell & would net far in excess of the tax obligation.
Likely taking the opportunity to lock in a sale at a strong price and meet tax obligations as well as diversify or use some fund's for other private purposes.
