You think it's only kids bullying kids on the internet?Ever heard of Amanda Todd? I agree that building their self worth and confidence is important, but if you think it's possible to keep a kid off the internet these days, you're out of touch with reality. What if your kid gets bullied at school? Do you make them stay at home and miss out on an education and social interaction. The internet is a part of their life and should be. Parents need to apply the same philosophy and strategies to helping their children learn to cope with the hazards of the internet as they do with the real world. WFI isn't about censorship, it's about supervision, education and guidance. The ignorance of parents needs addressing as much as their children's.
