It's quite normal for the market to lose its gloss from about now to about the second week of January.
But my pick is that because of the systemic problems in the worlds monetary system this period is likely to be weaker than normal.
The Dow itself may have just completed a head and shoulders pattern and if so it's going down big time.
As always time will tell and some stocks will buck the trend for obvious reasons. The next few weeks will be a great time to go shopping for your favorites.
