I'm actually looking forward more to the JORC now then I was 6 months ago.
When I first spoke to Jerko almost 2 years ago he was was going to "fast track" and bypass the JORC.
That made perfect sense at the time. Build it in stages and the market WILL see that you can produce BG LCE at 99.5% and reward accordingly.
Someone along the way (probably Alex) talked him into doing a JORC for the following reasons...
Many funds won't or can't touch a stock unless it has some kind of JORC. This legally gets them out of trouble (or saves their job) if the said stock goes down 70%.
The more ppl. I talk to, the more confirm this.
Take all the resource stocks on the ASX...miners, explorers etc. The JORC is a massive tick.
The group of stocks on the ASX that are actually producing (at a profitable level) and have a JORC is very small.
AGY will get BOTH of these in less than 2 weeks!
That will put AGY on many radars of large funds.
