PIO vs MTC

I’ve taken a look at PIO just for kicks, and here compare PIO to MTC:

PIO’s MC is circa $35m
MTC’s MC is circa $20m

PIO’s Ontario lithium project “highlight” results:

• MF17-39: 17.90m at 1.47% Li₂O from 80.00m;
• MF17-40: 12.85m at 1.16% Li₂O from 80.05m;
• MF17-49: 26.30m at 1.70% Li₂O from 111.9m; including 7.70m at 2.97% Li₂O from 130.5m;
• MF17-50: 16.55m at 1.45% Li₂O from 74.55m; and 23.10m at 1.36% Li₂O from 122.00m.

MTC’s Cancet lithium project “some of the better drill intercepts”:

18m @ 3.71% lithium oxide from 8m
21.5m @ 2.24% lithium oxide from 5m
17m @ 2.06% lithium oxide from 6m

Not only are three of our four top intercepts bigger than those of PIO, but our grades are MUCH higher and our intercepts are MUCH shallower.

I am so glad MTC is focusing on one mineral (lithium) and spinning-out the other (cobalt). Shows decisiveness and a high level of focus on the part of management.

In my mind it doesn’t matter which way you slice it, MTC is massively undervalued compared to peers.

The lack of market depth due to 70% T20 ownership is the reason why MTC attracts fewer traders and investors, which has a lower on-market SP as it’s corollary.

But guess what, 70% T20 ownership also means a “stable register” (http://www.metalstech.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/pd258-March18-mag-web-88.pdf) and at this stage few bots and few shorters.
