Yes, penned it at 1am and made 2 errors that could confuse - I've put in bold, corrections to the original post:
COB is a copper cobaltiferous pyrite deposit and has an estimated capex of only US $350m (450 AU) for their unique and proven pyrolysis setup which has elemental Sulfur credit as an end-product credit (rather than sulfuric acid waste).
The COB Capex also includes a refinery. Refined Copper Cobalt Sulfate samples will achieve 80% cobalt price by weight (compared to 20% for Cobalt concentrate in most of the worlds cobalt mines)...
*Still dramatically undervalued, but a good base mcap
*Quality management team executing a clear plan (saw the Co demand well before others)
*Big Co deposit / pure play
*Not a drop in the pond (compared to Co mines lost in a behemoth company's assets)
*Established mining district
*World class grade and highest grade in Oz to process
*Insatiable Co demand approaching that price is already reflecting
*Scarcity of commodity outside of the DRC (fast becoming an unworkable region)
*Refined Battery-ready end product
*Low CAPEX and less risk compared to HPAL
*Low OPEX and process proved on good scale
*Patenting processing IP and partnering with others on this basis
This mine will be built and the PFS will lay out the favorable economics for all to see.
In my opinion, COB is the best Co play (in the world) by a good margin.
