Sorry I didn't notice you'd recently left a post.

Yeh, i agree, drifting listless is a fairly apt description at the moment. A little disappointing really.

I think we all understood there was some pretty significant delivery hurdles ahead for SSM after they won the $1Bill 4yr contract with Tesltra..........but they won the contract and are more than capable of delivering!!!

So why have they been hit so hard lately??

That contract almost doubles the total revenue of the company! I wouldn't expect a similar jump in profit due to the tight margins but still, I'm sure profit isn't suffering with all the extra work on!!!!

My 2 hopes are:

1). its a significant holder getting out in a hurry cos they need cash so they are killing the shaerprice which will only rebound quickly after they've gone, and the ohter;

2). it makes them more attractive to be bought out. I still think there is an outside chance that one of 2 or 3 big boys (some of which who won the other parts of telstra's servicing consolidation contract) might find them attractive to eat them up and eliminate the competition!

All speculation.

Lets face it though, a 60c drop from the 2.28'ish high to today at 1.685 at one point on nothing but positive news hurts......and hurts alot.

Hang in there Docker. Second qarter results will be due late Jan or Feb I'd assume. That will tell the story of their recent performance.
