I think it might have something to do with the fact that the majority of the 'inferred' (JORC) resource is 1.5km below surface, that is a lot of dirt to move, translating into pre-requisite CAPEX, for an inferred (it's probably there, we hope)...
Correct me if I am mistaken, but I don't believe we've actually ever put a 'drillbit' down that far yet, essentially because of the CAPEX-outlay on a 'might-be' project...
Also, I think AB probably is a 'world-class' asset (based on size/volume) compared to many other projects, except they're just a whole lot closer to the surface and more practical (CAPEX-outlay) to mine, and risk/reward ratios look significantly better...
Bit behind the 8-ball on this one, average buy $0.0062, but am holding out for the 'hot-pocket' assets (Co, Ni, Li, etc) dirll-results, and/or perhaps a 'chinese' JV/bid for MCT assets and/or development...
Have my doubts on whether the existing MCT 'leadership-team' have the 'nouse' to make it happen...
