Dear Collaborate Stakeholder,

I am pleased to advise that Collaborate’s RACV DriveMyCar business has been significantly expanded to now provide rental cars for RACV Insurance customers whose vehicles were damaged during the significant hail storms in December 2017. Tens of thousands of cars were damaged, and as the market leader in Victoria, RACV Insurance moved swiftly to establish specialised repair facilities with its partners to repair thousands of vehicles as quickly as possible. The assessment phase is nearing completion and repairs have commenced so now is an opportune time to provide rental vehicles to owners of hail damaged vehicles who may be without their car for 1 – 3 weeks while their car is being repaired.

RACV Insurance will promote the exclusive rental car offers directly to its customers who will be able to book a car online via an optimised booking process and collect the rental car directly from the repair centre. The PeerPass platform has been utilised, in association with RACV Insurance, to provide a more rapid on-boarding process that will improve conversion rates and sales.

This opportunity has been made possible by the effective collaboration between RACV and DriveMyCar and is another example of the opportunities that are possible when leveraging access to RACV’s 2.1 million customers.  Vehicles for this opportunity have been sourced from automotive dealers, manufacturers and leasing companies.
