200 years ago those who didn't know any better, traded their nations assets away for baubles and other shiny things, that they ignorantly thought were valuable. Now they bemoan the fact colonising countries took advantage of their innocent naiveté .
In the global world we live in now colonisers use the stock-market to do their plundering.
