I somehow doubt you're all that interested in my thoughts, but I will attempt to answer in earnest.
I was overlooking the 24-month escrow as the reason the Carolans had not sold down into the share price shortly after listing, but they had been out of escrow for over 2 months at the time of posting.
The timing of the sale - 6 months to the day after coming off escrow - does suggest it was a pre-agreed partial sell down. The SP dropped another 30% in those 6 months, so I feel a little sorry for Steve if that is the case.
The facts after the announcement are:
- the Carolans retain 18.5% of the company
- the new CEO has put another $334k of his own money into CV1
- the SP is up 7% in response
Overall it appears to have been a positive result.
