The problem is the chinese need lithium and a bloody lot of it! There government officials are trialled on how they meet their green energy targets so they will do whatever it takes. They have access to funds and a population to go with it. So it comes to this. A $3B lithium mine on the table and with the Argentinan govt giving the chinese the cold shoulder atm, a lot of pressure is mounting on proven ‘clean’ Li stocks. Just like oil, this was always going to be a scenario.
