Relevance to Lynas is tangential but potentially strong, on the assumptions that Lynas has an multi-decade economic deposit and that REEs have ongoing relevance.
There is no doubt that supply and demand balancing is important for long-term health of REEs. Lynas's deposit will run out. China's got a bunch, but a monopoly by a State-run economy would be unhealthy. That makes all ex-China supply development relevant, even if China has part or complete ownership.
Gakara's extent is unknown, and perhaps its veins are unsuitable for bulk mining, as ausheds claims, but so what? That is not a reason to dismiss Gakara. So I suggest you dismiss his dismissiveness.
I'm not saying it is appropriate to promote other miners stocks here, but discussions of other deposits are relevant, in my opinion.
