So even though Kevin Swan will be talking about pushing up rates and controlling inflation, he actually won't you reckon. He wants inflation. I wonder what that will mean for the average bloke on the street. Prices go up much faster than wages. It will be great for people who have money in assets like gold and houses I suppose. Bad for bond holders and anybody who has to buy anything. They will just find it harder to make ends meet. First home buyers will be well and truly stuffed. Share owners will suffer a bit too. Eventually people not being able to buy as much will impact on businesses. People won't purchase as much so profits will start to decline and stockmarket will go down. I suppose at that point people with some spare cash to invest will do ok too.
