Interestingly the strong tip at Cartes had been VeriFone to buy Thales e-transactions. I'm guessing VeriFone have other problems at the moment.

One very interesting aspect is Jack McDonnell's role. He used to own TNS who recently bought the Australian payments company, Dialect. Jack was ousted by the TNS board but rumour has that he wants to be a big player in the payments game again.
